Volunteers are ordinary people with extraordinary hearts! The volunteer effort is a strong and vital component of ACR Health. Over the course of a year, more than 300 volunteers share their time and talents with ACR. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout ACR's nine county service area and in each of ACR's eight offices. Volunteers serve in many ways and provide an array of needed services.

What we expect from you.Volunteer Background Check Policy
Persons who donate their time to ACR to provide direct services or support to any of our consumers will be required to sign a release allowing ACR to conduct a background check.
ACR will complete the check through Spectrum Securities. The cost to the volunteer is $19.00.
The results of the background check will not necessarily impact your acceptance into ACR's volunteer program.Volunteer Attire Policy
Volunteers are expected to dress appropriately in accordance with their assigned duties. As volunteers, you are a representative of ACR Health and an extension of our staff.Confidentiality Policy
All volunteers are required to read, understand, and sign the statement of confidentiality attached to their volunteer application. Confidentiality is extended to a volunteer's information.Expected Conduct Policy
ACR has established basic expectations regarding conduct that ensures the safety of program participants and volunteers, ensures quality and continuity of care, and ensures respect for the rights and responsibilities of people living with HIV and AIDS.Rules of Conduct and Volunteer Dismissal Policy
