Syracuse, June 22, 2011 ~ Friends came together for the first-ever Cocktail Giving Party to benefit the Q Center where they had fun and supported a great cause, raising $2,600. The Q Center would like to congratulate Maria Randazzo of Manlius, who won two tickets to a Pat Benatar concert, including overnight accommodations and dinner for two at Vernon Downs Casino.
The party was the brain child of Maureen “Moe” O’Neill, AIDS Community Resources’ Development Associate for the Q Center. “My mother taught me the value of volunteering and being an active and proud member of your community.”
If you don’t have a favorite cause, please consider the Q Center, a safe space for all GBLTQ youth. Contact her: moneill@aidscommunityresources.com
