2. Create your own personal fundraising pageSetting up your own personal fundraising page is quick and easy. Once it is set up, you can send a personalized email message to everyone in your address book asking them to donate to you, along with a link which will take them right to your page. You can monitor your fundraising progress, see who has donated, and which potential sponsors need followup. So spread the word that online donations are secure and easy to do! 3. Collect donationsThink about why walking is important to you personally. Ask everyone you know to sponsor you: friends, co-workers, businesses you frequent, groups you are involved with. Set a goal for yourself to be a part of the $500 Club. You'll be surprised to see how fast the donations add up. And don't forget to ask your sponsors if the company they work for will match their donation. Many do! Need more inspiration? Check out these fundraising tips. Not only will the donations you collect help support the programs of AIDS Community Resources, but you'll earn some great incentives for your effort. 4. Collection WeekBringing in your completed registration form, donations, and matching gift forms during Collection Week saves you time on event day. Forget about waiting in registration lines! You will receive all your earned incentives along with your registration packet. All you have to do on April 27 is show up and walk, run and have fun! Collection will be held at: Beinecke Student Center, Hamilton College
