Interested in helping with the AIDS Walk/Run? Join hundreds of other caring people to help produce Central New York's largest AIDS fundraising event. The AIDS Walk/Run relies heavily on volunteers in the community. More than 100 volunteers recruit walkers, find business sponsors, form teams, hang posters, distribute event brochures, and promote the walk in the weeks leading up to the event. Another 100 volunteers work with AIDS Community Resources staff on the day of the event, Sunday, June 1. With activities during the day, evening and on weekends, there is something to suit almost any schedule. And whether you give 2-3 hours per week, one weekend a month, or one day a year, your service is invaluable.
